Flights to Chicago

Chicago is one of the great American cities — a place where world-class architecture, deep-rooted neighborhoods, and a defining food culture come together along the shores of Lake Michigan. The skyline gave birth to the modern skyscraper, and walking through the Loop today is essentially walking through a museum of 20th-century architectural innovation.

Millennium Park anchors downtown, home to the Cloud Gate sculpture (the Bean) and free summer concerts at the Pritzker Pavilion. The Chicago Riverwalk has transformed the central river into one of the city's best public spaces, lined with restaurants, kayak rentals, and architectural cruise launches. The Art Institute of Chicago houses one of the most important art collections in the country, including American Gothic and a stunning Impressionist gallery.

Chicago neighborhoods each have their own character. Wicker Park and Logan Square anchor the indie music and dive bar scene. Pilsen showcases a vibrant Mexican-American community with murals and family-run restaurants. Hyde Park, home to the University of Chicago, sits along the lakefront on the South Side. And the West Loop has emerged as the dining capital of the city.

O'Hare (ORD) is a major United and American hub with nonstop flights to nearly every US city and extensive international service. Midway (MDW) on the Southwest Side is smaller, often cheaper, and primarily serves Southwest Airlines. Summer (May to October) is Chicago at its best — patios open, beaches active, and festivals every weekend. Winters are genuinely brutal but bring lower hotel rates.
